Sandra Maria Rodrigues Balão holds a Master and a PhD Degree from the Higher Institute for Social and Political Sciences of the Technical University of Lisbon.
Her main areas of interest are: Globalization and Anti-Globalization, Great Power Politics, Foreign Policy, Geopolitics, International Politics, Elite Theory, Governance, Democracy and State Studies.
She teaches both undergraduate and graduate Political Science, International Relations, Strategy and Communication courses.
